Ebe Dancel serenades netizens with new song 'Hanggang Kailan Kita Mahihintay'

Ebe Dancel once again stepped on the virtual stage to serenade fans amid the community quarantine.

The latest guest of "Quarantined With Howie Severino" performed his new song "Hanggang Kailan Kita Mahihintay" on Tuesday night.

The former Sugarfree frontman revealed that the idea for the song came to him while he was trying to install a software on his computer.

"Nag-simula akong alas siete ng gabi at natapos ng alas siete ng (umaga). As in ang bagal. Kailangan ng internet connection para ma-install 'yong software," he said.

"At some point , tinanong ko talaga ’yong computer, 'hanggang kailan ba kita mahihintay?'"

Ebe has been singing his heart out since lockdown measures were imposed in the country due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

He was part of "Bayanihan, Musikahan," a series of live concerts launched by composer Ryan Cayabyab to raise funds for vulnerable sectors of society. —MGP, GMA News
