'Good Omens: Lockdown' special reveals the cutest convo between Crowley and Aziraphale
What could the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley be up to during the coronavirus pandemic?
We can now find out, thanks to the "Good Omens: Lockdown" special that was just released to mark the 30th anniversary of the original publication of the book.
The video doesn't show either of the beloved characters, but it did feature a phone conversation between them as Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) called up Crowley (David Tennant) to ask how he's been during lockdown.
Apparently, Crowley has been "very, very bored" but is not inclined to do his demon duties and raise hell on Earth.
"I know I ought to be making people's lives even worse but everyone's so miserable cooped up inside anyway. I just don't have the heart for it," he said.
Aziraphale meanwhile has been "delighted" because he was able to close up his book shop and catch up on reading.
In fact, he found a baking cookbook and went on a baking spree.
The pair had considered meeting up, but due to quarantine rules, decided to just see each other "when all this is over."
Written by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett, "Good Omens" was adapted into a television series last May.
It follows the unlikely friendship between the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley as they raced to stop the end of the world.
