'John Wick: Chapter 4' delayed to 2022

The release of "John Wick: Chapter 4" has been delayed to 2022.

Lionsgate made the announcement on Saturday, and released the new premiere dates of its other films such as "Spiral," "Antebellum," and "Hitman's Bodyguard 2."

The fourth installment of the popular "John Wick" franchise was initially set on May 21, 2021, a day dubbed as "Keanu Reeves day" because it coincided with the release of "The Matrix 4."

Large gatherings all over the world have been prohibited to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Because of this, many film releases such as "Mulan" and "Fast and Furious" have been postponed.
