'24 Oras' anchors try TikTok dance for COVID-19 frontliners

"24 Oras" anchors tried to do a TikTok dance to show support to the frontliners battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

At the end of the news telecast on Thursday, Oscar Oida reported about the senior citizens who have showed their dancing mettle on the popular video platform.

Jessica Soho then persuaded Vicky Morales and Atom Araullo to do their own version of a TikTok dance before signing off.

"O game. Kakasa ba tayo?" Jessica said. "Para naman sa mga medical frontliner 'to."

The three of them performed a step from the "Fight Song," one of the favorite dances of the frontliners.

When they were done, Jessica cheered: "Fight!"

She even stopped in the middle of her closing spiel to make sure Atom participated in the dance.

"Nag-TikTok ka ba, Atom?" she asked, making the three of them laugh.

A nursing assistant who got infected with COVID-19 also performed the same dance in his hospital room to ease his families' worries. —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
