6cyclemind, other top OPM artists to perform live on FB to raise funds for COVID-19 frontliners

Top OPM artists have come together to perform in a series of Facebook live shows to raise donations for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) frontliners.

Artists such as Moonstar88, 6cyclemind, Pedicab, Gracenote, Banda ni Kleggy, Imago, and Ultra Combo partnered with Smart Communications to perform an eight-week music jamming session called the Smart Music Live Online Sessions.

Aside from these artists, Kean Cipriano, Janine Teñoso, Rice Lucido, This Band, and Brisom also performed in an online concert with Smart on Wednesday to raise funds for the Philippine Red Cross.

Before Smart Music Live Online Sessions, renowned composer Ryan Cayabyab launched a series of Facebook live concerts dubbed as "Bayanihan Musikahan" to raise funds for the vulnerable sectors affected by the disease. 

Artists involved the project include Aiza Seguerra, Lea Salonga, Christian Bautista, Ebe Dancel, Agot Isidro, Chito Miranda, Nyoy Volante, Yael Yuzon, Karylle, Raymond Lauchengco, and The Company.
