SB19 postpones concert tours in Pampanga and Iloilo amid COVID-19 scare

Pinoy pop boy group SB19 has postponed its concert tours in Luzon and Visayas, following the rise in confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the country.

The "Get in the Zone Nationwide Concert" was scheduled to take place in Pampanga and Iloilo on April 4 and April 18, respectively.

The group made the announcement on its Instagram on Saturday, and apologized for the late notice.

"We sincerely apologize for the delay of announcement and we want you to know that our outmost priority is your health," the statement read.

"The ticketing for the said event will be on hold for the meantime. In this case, please wait for further notice on our official sites about this matter," it added.

SB19 also assured fans that it would announce the updated schedule of events soon.

It also asked directed flight rebooking concerns to the respective airline companies fans booked from.

"We regret to announce this message. We hope you consider our decision," the group said.

Last month, SB19 or "Sound Break 19" made waves for Pinoy pop as they became a mainstay on Billboard's Social 50 chart.

The all-Filipino boy group was the first of its kind to be trained under a Korean entertainment company.
