A Korean adaptation of Zac Efron's '17 Again' is coming soon


South Korea's JTBC is set to adapt Zac Efron's hit film, "17 Again," into a television series.

"17 Again" is a 2009 American film about a middle-aged man (Matthew Perry) who finds himself in the middle of a divorce, stuck in a dead-end job, and ignored by his two kids. With a magical twist, he finds himself young again (Zac Efron) and given a chance to correct his mistakes.

The Korean adaptation will be titled "18 Again," and Do Hyun is set to play the younger version of the character Hong Dae Young, while Yoon Sang Hyun will portray the older version.

Playing as Hong Dae Young's love interest is Kim Ha Neul (older version) and Han So Eun (younger version)

The drama, directed by Ha Byung Hoon, will also star Lee Ki Woo and Kim Yoo Ri.

"18 Again" is set to premiere in South Korea during the second half of 2020.
