This sketch hobbyist-turned-tattoo artist has minimalist ideas for your first ink
Have you been dying to get a tattoo but aren't a hundred percent sure you're ready for that needle?
You can always go for a minimalist tattoo.
At Siningtinta, for example, first-timers come to get small tattoos and leave with a lifelong reminder in bold line art or delicate "watercolor." And apart from less pain, smaller tattoos are easy to conceal, too!
The possibilities are endless, from your beloved pets to your favorite flowers.
As cute and IG-worthy as they may be, minimalist tattoos are not just a fashion trend.
In a report on "Unang Balita," the sketch hobbyist-turned tattoo artist behind Siningtinta Eloise Cadilo shared that her clients have big reasons to get a little bit of ink done.
Sure, lots of people get inked to remind themselves of a someone special or a huge moment in their lives, but tattoos can also be something very small and very personal.
In fact, your first tat can be as simple as a daily reminder that you have to love yourself, too.
One client got a tattoo of himself.
"Ang design ng tattoo ko symbolizes self love should be retained to myself," Jego Bayani explained.
"Kasi I've been struggling with self love for the past three years and gusto kong magkaroon ng permanent mark na paalala na: You need to love yourself first before anyone else."
