16 photos to look at if you miss 'Crash Landing on You' after its season finale

After the season finale of the latest Korean drama hit series "Crash Landing on You" (CLOY) on Netflix and tvN, fans are having major withdrawal syndrome.

"Crash Landing on You" is 16-part series cross-border love story between a rich South Korean fashion businesswoman Yun Se-ri (played by Son Ye-jin) and a North Korean military officer Ri Jeong-hyeok (played by Hyun Bin.)

The two met each other after Se-ri accidentally ended up in North Korea's territory when she was swept by a tornado while she was paragliding.

Captain Ri finds Se-ri hanging on a tree thinking she is a spy from the South. He later gives shelter to Se-ri and he ends up helping her find her way back to South Korea.

A report on AFP says the show was complimented by defectors because of its accuracy with scenes set in Pyongyang and the countryside in the North.

According to Korean entertainment website Soompi, CLOY achieved the highest viewership ratings, with Nielsen Korea saying it's scored 17.1% in nationwide ratings, peaking at 19.2%.

CLOY started streaming on Netflix on December 14 with its final episode launched on Monday, February 17 (Manila time).
