Kapuso actor and comedian Paolo Ballesteros made international news last week for setting an unofficial world record: He didn't blink for a whopping one hour, 17 minutes and three seconds on-air.

But how did he do it?
In an episode of "AHA!" Paolo revealed he got some pretty good advice from his fellow "Eat Bulaga!" host Pauleen Luna.

Paolo went up against Allan K who blinked at the 34th minute and 55-second mark.
At that moment, Paolo said he started doing the math in his head.
Taking Pauleen's advice, Paolo said he just let his tears blur his vision and held on for much longer.
In the end, Paolo was able to keep his eyes open for one hour, 17 minutes and three seconds.
While Guinness World Records has no official record of the person with the longest time spent without blinking, various reports have cited the website Recordsetter.com, which said a certain Julio Jaime of Colorado kept his eyes open without blinking for 1 hour, 5 minutes and 11 seconds in 2016.
When asked how he felt after setting an unofficial world record, "Nakakatuwa," the Dabarkad said.
