Disney drops trailer for upcoming High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
As they always said, once a wildcat always a wildcat!
Disney has finally unveiled the trailer for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
While the story is based on the original films, the 10-episode series isn't a remake of the iconic film trilogy.
Filled with catchy tunes and a great choreography, the series follows the story of a group of students as they go through drama and heartbreak as they count down to the opening night of their school's first ever production of "High School Musical."
During the D23 Expo on Friday, series' creator and executive producer Tim Federle said, "This is a 10-episode scripted series that I like to think of as a love letter to the original fans."
"And it’s also an irreverent new musical for a new generation… Because the entire series is all about finding your tribe. That’s the most important thing to me," he added.
The series stars Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Dara Renee, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Larry Saperstein, Kate Reinders, and Mark St. Cyr.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is set to debut when Disney's streaming service launches on November 12.
