‘Avengers: Endgame’ earns P1.3B locally in just 9 days

In just 9 days, “Avengers: Endgame” has earned a smashing P1,302,454,613 in the local box office, making it the highest grossing film of all time in the Philippines — at least according to Press Play Pictures, Disney's distributor in the country.

It puts Endgame to the top of the five-point list of highest grossing films in the country:

1. Avengers: Endgame ($24.6M)
2. Avengers: Infinity War ($22.8M)
3. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast ($12.8M)
4. Captain America: Civil War ($12.6M)
5. Captain Marvel ($12.4M)

The movie also posted the biggest Thursday, biggest Friday and biggest opening weekend of all time.

Globally, Endgame has crossed the $2-Billion mark, ranking 2nd on the all-time worldwide box office charts.
