These 7 trippy scenes from 'Our Planet' show how lucky we are to be living on earth

Much has been said about Netflix documentary "Our Planet," and for good reason. The ambitious eight-episode documentary series, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, not only talks about how amazing — and amazingly connected — all life on Earth is.

But more importantly, the show tackles how much of it has changed:  90% of Philippine rain forests is gone (episode 5), walruses have have become a danger to themselves because the ice they used to rest on have melted (episode 2), and so on.

It's all very worrying, which is why we won't say anymore that might make you turn your head the other way.

"Our Planet" is highly recommended — a must-watch, if we may.

So to convince you to at least see one episode (just about 50 minutes of your day) and to celebrate the upcoming Earth Day (April 22), allow to give you a come-on: The show is hella trippy and that's because planet earth is hella trippy. Whoever designed it must really be out of her mind, if you believe in that.

But if you don't, the fantastic capture of cute mating dances by the birds, the thrilling wild cheeta chases, and even just the quiet bursting forth of life, will remind you how lucky you are to be living on amazing Planet Earth. It's a privilege to call it home.
