‘Boy with Luv’ by BTS breaks YouTube record for most views in 24 hours

Apart from appearing on "SNL" over the weekend, K-pop group BTS just earned another feather in its cap: It just broke YouTube’s records for most views in 24 hours.

Their "Boy with Luv" music video debuted on the video platform on April 12 and by then next, it has already earned a whopping 74.6 million views.

It’s also the fastest music video to reach 100 million views in under two days.

As of writing, "Boy with Luv" is currently the number 1 trending video on YouTube with more than 141M views.

A testament to K-pop’s power, BTS’ “Boy with Luv” is just one of seven K-pop artists in YouTube’s list of 10 best video debuts of all time.

Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next,” Taylor Swift’s “look What you Made Me Do,” and Eminem’s “Killshot” are the three, well, non-Korean artists in the list.
