There’s a bike park in QC, and it’s won for its developers an international award
In Quezon City stands The Bike Player. It is “the first bike park in the country,” boasts its developers Ortigas Company, which incidentally won for them a bronze at the Stevie Awards — "the world’s premiere business awards" —for promoting an active lifestyle.
Bike enthusiasts will be happy to learn that The Bike Playground features the first indoor asphalt pump track, which is usable even during the rainy season.
The Bike Playground, which opened in March 2017, has a 1-kilometer outdoor trail, and for good measure, a kids’ track.
If you want to become a bike enthusiast but don’t know how to pedal just yet, there are bike lessons offered here, too (starts P750/2 hours), as well as bike and gear rentals.
If you’re the token dabarkads who simply got dragged into the lakad, no worries. Industria Mall, which is also within Circulo Verde, is just a short walk away. — LA, GMA News
