CSA states 'no bullying' of Yasmien Kurdi's daughter

CSA denies bullying of Yasmien Kurdi's daughter: 'There appears to be no bullying that happened'

Colegio San Agustin has finally released a statement after Yasmien Kurdi claimed her daughter has experienced bullying in school.

According to the statement signed by lawyers Joesph Noel M. Estrada and Willard T. Yung, "the incident among students [has] been blown out in the public."

"At the outset, there appears to be no bullying that happened on December 10, 2024," read a portion of the the statement released on Facebook, adding "the school immediately addressed the matter among the students and parents involved."

As the school said it was handling the incident "with caution circumspect and confidentially," it urged the Kapuso celebrity to "cooperate" with them.

"We also caution Mrs. Soldevilla to refrain from sharing information about the minor students as this tends to put them in a bad light, embarrassment, and even ridicule not only in CSA but in the eyes of the public," it added.

The statement added that Yasmien's public allegations "may have unintended consequences on the students." Highlighting the privacy of the minors involved, the school said they "deserve respect too."

"CSA supports raising awareness on bullying, but also mindful that the drawing or seeking unnecessary public attention does not help at all in the formation and correction of students and in eventually resolving their conflicts," it said.

"The undue branding of bullying of these interactions might result in disruptions in students' learning and growth," it added, and emphasized its request for "circumspection and trust" in the school's handling of the matter.

In early December, Yasmien claimed that Ayesha “was ganged up on” and “targeted” by students for not replying to messages about their school Christmas party while they were on vacation, and that she was blocked by students into not leaving their classroom and denied food during their breaks.

Another student also allegedly took a video of Ayesha without her consent, causing her "paranoia and anxiety."

On Instagram, the actress shared a polaroid photo of Ayesha that's been cut up into pieces.

Yasmien is set to meet with Department of Education chief Sonny Angara on Thursday “to discuss potential solutions and strategies” to address bullying in schools.

Ayesha is Yasmien’s eldest child with Rey Soldevilla. The couple welcomed their second daughter, Raya Layla, in May.
