Iya Villania's no.1 tip on how to raise four kids and carry a fifth: Be fit and healthy
Iya Villania gamely answered all of Tito Boy's questions on Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda." She also gamely gave tips about marriage, parenting, and even about having faith.
Her top tip about raising four kids and carrying a fifth, though is a little surprising: Be healthy, Iya said.
"Malaking bagay that I'm healthy and fit, because then I'm able for my family," the Chika Minute host began.
According to Iya, being fit and healthy allows her to do things for and with her growing family.
"One major thing is to get fit and get healthy so that you can use your body and do things with confidence and with strength," Iya said.
Besides, being fit and strong gives her the patience as well as endurance to keep up with three growing boys, a baby girl, and an outdoorsy husband like Drew.
"Mas may pasensya ka, mas may endurance ka, masasamahan mo sila sa mga trip nila," she said.
Iya constantly goes viral not only for her work out videos while pregnant, but for the workout videos she shares after giving birth.
In 2022, while pregnant with her fourth child Astro, she shared her workout routine to encourage fellow pregnant women to keep moving.
"I know not every mama is lucky enough to be able to exercise during their pregnancy so I want to encourage those who still can. It's good for both you and baby. Just be reasonable and don't do anything your body isn't used to. And if you need to rest, respect that too," she said back then.
Two weeks after giving birth to Astro, she immediately went back to working out, which prompted even her fellow celebs like Isabelle Daza and Bea Alonzo to comment in awe.
In September, Iya announced she and Drew are expecting their fifth child, which of course didn't stop her from working out.
As recently as October, Iya shared a "tamang buntis" workout video on Instagram. A real superwoman.
