Derek Ramsay's mom undergoes successful surgery after breaking forearm from fall
Derek Ramsay's mom, Remedios, had a successful surgery after she broke her forearm due to a fall.
On Instagram, Derek shared a photo of his mom lying on a hospital bed with his dad, Derek Sr., watching over her, along with radiographs of her broken forearm.
"The other day, my mom took a bad fall and broke her forearm. Seeing her fall and seeing her in so much pain was the scariest moment of my life," the actor wrote.
He shared that his mom is a strong woman, so it was hard for him to see her suffering. He added that she underwent surgery a day after she broke her forearm.
Derek expressed his gratitude to the doctors and nurses who took care of his mom, as well as those who prayed for her and sent their well wishes.
"Mom is back to putting on her own makeup, which is definitely a good sign!" he said.
In the comments section, celebrities wished Derek's mom a quick recovery, including Ogie Alcasid, Matteo Gudicelli, Cristalle Belo, and more.
