Inka Magnaye shares a lifestyle change: 'So hard but well worth it'

Inka Magnaye just detailed how she changed her lifestyle to benefit her overall well-being.

On Instagram, the voice actor and content creator shared photos of herself from when she was a 22-year-old who "ate processed foods, skipped her meals, drank alcohol four times a week, and finished a pack of cigarettes a day." 

According to Inka, she's always had a petite frame, which gave her the impression that she didn’t need exercise.

“This was also back in 2011, when information about health and wellness wasn’t as easily accessible as they are today,” she said of the photos from when she was 22 years old.

“This was the time when people still believed that skinny automatically meant healthy!” she added, opening up about not practicing any exercises, and not giving importance to her sleeping patterns.

“Then, a few months after this, I was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery because one of my cysts in my ovaries burst,” she said. “Worst pain of my life.”

Her carousel post included photos from present-day 35-year-old Inka, who is now three years clean from smoking and vaping, and only drinks alcohol occasionally, she said.

“I don’t go overboard, I workout regularly, eat mindfully, get the proper amount of rest, AND I go to therapy!” Inka added.

“Took me years to change my lifestyle, but it’s possible,” she said.

In her caption, Inka said there might be a possibility that her PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) could already be in remission.

“Changing your lifestyle is so hard, but [it’s] well worth it,” she said.

Inka ended her post by congratulating herself on having the courage to change her lifestyle.

“Good job, past Inka! Thank you for making that decision. I know it was hard, but you were stronger,” she said.
