Aubrey Miles on having stretch marks: ‘It’s OK to have them’

Aubrey Miles sets the record straight: Having stretch marks is not something to be ashamed of.

On Instagram, the 42-year-old mom and actress shared her bikini photos, proudly flaunting the stretch marks on her upper thighs.

In the caption, she opened up about being “judged and laughed at” for having stretch marks when she was just starting in the show business.

“I tried to keep my composure because it didn’t really bother me,” she said. “I was more concerned about having a fit & healthy physique.”

“For me, having these marks is like having wounds or scars from playing, growing up,” she added. “So, it’s nothing to worry about.”

She also said that the same people who laughed at her in the past now have children of their own.

“All I have to say is, and now you know,” she said.

“It’s OK to have them,” she added. “It doesn’t make you a less kind, sexy, or beautiful person.”

Aubrey joins the growing number of celebrities who are proudly flaunting their stretch marks, among them Sarah Lahbati, Andi Eigenmann, and Iya Villania.

According to Dr. Jean Marquez, stretch marks are only scars of our skin’s inner layer. They are really nothing to be ashamed of.

Aubrey, who is married to Troy Montero, is set to star in GMA Prime’s upcoming series “Shining Inheritance,” alongside Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, and Michael Sager, among others.

Aubrey and Troy have two children, Hunter and Rocket, while Aubrey also has another son, John Maurie, with ex-boyfriend JP Obligacion.
