David Licauco to undergo surgery for sleep apnea later this month
David Licauco is set to undergo surgery this month for his sleep apnea.
In Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras," Tuesday, the Pambansang Ginoo said that he is looking forward to the procedure.
"I just can't wait for that day na mas maging OK ako dahil it's affecting my daily life, my mental health, so I want to do it. I just want that to be over para mas, again, to live my best life," David said.
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which breathing stops and starts repeatedly.
His on-screen partner, Barbie Forteza, said that David told her about his upcoming surgery while they were in Canada for the Sparkle tour.
"Siyempre, I'm hoping na magiging maganda 'yung resulta, hindi ba? And it will be for his improvement, para hindi na rin siya gaanong ma-challenge when it comes to working late or having to wake up early," the Kapuso Primetime Princess said.
Barbie and David are currently working on "Pulang Araw" with Alden Richards and Sanya Lopez.
They also have an upcoming movie titled "That Kind of Love."
