Construction worker faces health problems after injecting petroleum jelly in his genital area in 2007

A construction worker from Cagayan is seeking help from GMA Kapuso Foundation as he faces health problems 17 years after he injected petroleum jelly in his genital area.

According to "24 Oras," Wednesday, Dante, not his real name, did the procedure in 2007 when he was influenced by his sibling.

At first, he was satisfied with the results. He even got married and had a child.

But a few years later, he started feeling discomfort.

"Nagbitak-bitak na kaya nagpacheck-up ako sa emergency. Masakit," he said.

Because "Dante" only makes P500 a day as a construction worker, he cannot afford the medicines needed.

"'Di ako makatulog. Makatulog ako, pinakamatagal na isang oras. Kumikirot, namamanhid," he said.

He traveled all the way to Manila to seek help from GMA Kapuso Foundation.

"Lumalapit ako sa inyo para matulungan ako na matanggal 'yung aking tinurok sobrang sakit," he said.
