Sharon Cuneta asks for prayers amid health issues: 'I pray that the MRI results won't be too scary'
Sharon Cuneta asked her fans and followers for prayers as she faces several health issues.
On Instagram, the Megastar said she has a cough that won't go away and she also needs to get an MRI scan for previous injuries on her knee and lower back.
Sharon also has scoliosis, which she found out when she had her lungs x-rayed.
"I need to know why now my pinched nerve has 'travelled' to the right side of my body and/or if I have any new injuries and such," she said.
"I've been limping since our trip to Seoul from January 2-10 for my birthday and it's just gotten worse so am scared."
Sharon said she is currently resting and thanked her fans for their loving messages.
"I pray that the MRI results won't be too scary. And that this virus I caught anuman siya goes away na. I miss and love you all," she said.
In a separate post, Sharon said that she already underwent the MRI scan at St. Luke's Hospital, where she jokingly gave the name of actress Julia Roberts as her name.
Sharon recently starred in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival movie "Family of Two" with Alden Richards.
She also had reunion concerts with her former on- and off-screen partner, Gabby Concepcion, titled Dear Heart.
Earlier this week, Sharon teased a possible project in the United States and a concert tour.
