Michelle Madrigal embraces being a 'divorced single mom' on 35th birthday
Michelle Madrigal is truly the epitome of a strong and independent woman.
The former actress, who now resides in the United States, celebrated her 35th birthday on Saturday, and she took to Instagram to reflect on her life.
In her birthday post, Michelle shared photos and videos from various birthday celebrations with friends, along with a note of her reflections and manifestations.
"Embracing my 35th birthday as a divorced single mom, cherishing the present moment without comparison, trusting in the Lord's divine plan, and finding solace in the strength that comes from within," she wrote.
"Here's to faith, resilience, and the unwavering belief that brighter days are yet to come," Michelle added.
Michelle also put a reminder in her writing that "being single doesn't mean being alone."
"Your worth is not defined by your relationship status," she said.
"It's defined by the LOVE and KINDNESS you show to yourself and others," she added.
According to Michelle, she had "mixed feelings" about celebrating her 35th because she didn't feel like she "accomplished a lot this year" but she had friends who made her realize she deserves to give herself "some grace" because she has "touched and inspired so many women" by just being herself. Michelle thanked those friends.
"It was an opportunity to reflect and honor my wins," Michelle said.
"Taking it one day at a time," she ended.
In June, Michelle sparked separation rumors with her American boyfriend Kyle after fans noticed that she removed their Instagram photos together and talked about "healing" in an Instagram Story.
She introduced him on social media last year, and even brought him home to the Philippines during the Holidays.
Last year, Michelle finalized her divorce from Troy Woolfolk. They were married for three years and have a daughter named Anika, who they welcomed in 2017.
