Rio Locsin said she underwent mole removal surgery after someone mocked her for having multiple moles on her face.

In Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the veteran actress said in her four decades in show business, the directors and producers have regarded the mole on her face as her "trademark."

"Talagang gusto nila 'yung nunal kasi trademark na, tinutuluan daw ng luha pero bagay naman daw sa mukha ko, [so] wala namang nagsabi na ipatanggal," Rio said.

Despite this, she still underwent surgery to remove some moles on her face.

"Nagpatanggal ako ng ilang nunal kasi may nagsabi sa 'kin, 'Ano 'yan connect the dots?'" she added. "Nagtanggal ako ng tatlo, naiwan lang talaga 'yung isa, trademark."

Rio is set to star in the upcoming GMA primetime series "Black Rider" together with Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Kylie Padilla, Katrina Halili, and Matteo Guidicelli, among other stars.

The series is set to premiere on November 6.
