Kris Aquino shares health update: 'I'm surviving all the side effects'

Kris Aquino seems to be getting quite alright with her treatments in the United States.

On Monday, the Queen of All Media shared some positive health updates on Instagram. 

In her lengthy caption, Kris began by thanking all those who continuously pray for her.

“I don’t have my complete blood panel results yet BUT GUMANDA my inflammatory numbers[,] in particular[,] my C-reactive protein and my E-sedimentation rate,” she said.

While she’s still awaiting some blood test results, Kris says everything's "so far, so good."

“I don’t know what good I did, but I know I’m surviving all the side effects of methotrexate and my biological injectable because God is listening to all your prayers for my healing,” she said, adding she is hoping to get a health clearance to come home in six months and reach remission in 18 to 20 months.

“I miss my sisters, my cousins, my Filipino doctors, my close friends, and of course all of you… It’s already been 16 months,” she said.

In May, Kris began taking "baby doses" of methotrexate, a type of medicine that treats cancer, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis, after learning she actually had five autoimmune conditions, "possibly six."

In the latter part of her post, Kris said her sisters asked her to clear her relationship status.

“I AM NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP, we no longer communicate, and my sons and [I] feel more PEACEFUL,” she said, pertaining to Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste.

“No details because [I] value my privacy and respect his, and [I] chose to only give the FACTS that should be addressed,” she added.

Kris and Mark revealed their relationship early this year. The actress said that she found both love and friendship in Mark.

In July, Kris asked Mark for a “pause” in their relationship and said they “just weren’t meant for each other.”

Last month, Kris told Mark to not keep in touch with her.

Kris, as well as her sons Josh and Bimby, are currently in the US for the treatment of her autoimmune conditions.
