Kourtney Kardashian reveals she underwent 'urgent' fetal surgery

Kourtney Kardashian on Thursday revealed she experienced pregnancy complications, which prompted her to undergo fetal surgery to save her baby.

On Thursday, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star shared a photo on Instagram showing her holding her husband Travis Barker’s hand while in a hospital bed.

“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” she said.

“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock,” she added.

Kourtney also gave a special mention to her mother, Kris Jenner, for holding her hand in such a challenging time.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery,” Kourtney said.

“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear,” she added.

Kourtney also took the time to express her respect for mothers who “have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”

“Praise be to God,” she said. “Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”

In 2022, Kourtney and Travis tied the knot after almost two years in a relationship. They got engaged in October 2021.
