Nadine Samonte gets emotional talking about pregnancy struggles

Nadine Samonte got emotional when she recalled her doctor telling her she wouldn't have children.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Kapuso actress said that from 2013 until 2015, her doctor told her to consider surrogacy.

"Sinabihan ako ng doctor na I can't have kids, I should consider surrogate. So sabi ko no'n, parang wow, I'm just 27 years old then sasabihan ako na hindi ako puwede magkaanak?" she said.

"So sabi ko no'n, 'pag nagkaanak ako, lahat gagawin ko para sa kanila," she added. "Kahit ititigil ko 'yung trabaho ko, gusto ko silang palakihin talaga, and that's what I did."

Nadine also said being told that she wouldn't have kids became her turning point in reassessing her priorities in life.

"Lahat gagawin ko for them. Kasi 'yun 'yung turning point ka na sinabi sa 'kin ng doctor na you can't have kids," she said.

Nadine and her husband Richard Chua tied the knot in 2013. Three years later, she gave birth to their first child, Heather. They have two other kids: Titus, whom Nadine gave birth to in 2019, and Harmony in 2021.

Nadine is set to star in GMA's upcoming afternoon series, "The Missing Husband."
