Ruru Madrid opens up about knee injury from acting stunts

Ruru Madrid said he's getting stronger every day after undergoing physical therapy for his knee injury from doing fight scenes.

On Instagram, Sunday, the Kapuso Action-Drama Prince shared his healing progress and some snaps from his physical therapy sessions.

"I love doing my own stunts and fight scenes pero s'yempre hindi maiiwasan ang aksidente," Ruru said. "I just had another injury (Acute Ligamentous Injury) sa right knee."

"That's why I decided to get a PT (Physical Therapist) Coach [Joseph Santos II] para mas maging matibay at handa ang katawan sa lahat ng eksena na kailangan gawin."

Ruru is set to star in the upcoming GMA Public Affairs action series " Black Rider " alongside his leading lady Yassi Pressman .

The series will also star Kylie Padilla , Matteo Guidicelli, Jon Lucas, Rainier Castillo , Katrina Halili, Zoren Legaspi, Gladys Reyes, Empoy, Jayson Gainza, Janus del Prado , and many more.
