Parokya ni Edgar's Chito Miranda says Gab Chee Kee is set to undergo last chemotherapy session

Parokya ni Edgar guitarist Gab Chee Kee is getting better!

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the band's lead vocalist Chito Miranda said Gab is set to undergo a final chemotherapy session.

"Good news talaga. Nasa last session na siya ng chemotherapy next month," Chito said.

"Ayaw ko pa magsalita nang tapos pero parang everything is going back to normal, so I'm really excited about that," he added.

Last March, Gab was discharged from the hospital after two months. He was hospitalized due to pneumonia, a complication brought on by his lymphoma.

Gab's friends in the music industry helped raise funds, including an Eraserheads-signed guitar that sold for P1.3 million and Francis M's polo in the "Bagsakan" music video.

A fundraising gig titled "Resbak Para Kay Gab" was also held last March, which featured several top OPM musicians.
