Isko Moreno on life after politics: 'You have to find ways to move forward'

After being a Manila mayor for three years, Isko Moreno is moving forward with his life and reconnecting with his old love: showbiz and entertainment.

In the recent episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas," Isko said he needed to find another path after politics.

"You have to find your roads," the "Eat Bulaga" host said.

"Kapag ang isang kalsada na-block ka, or what you call stumbling blocks, you really have to find ways to move forward and move on with your lives," he added.

Isko also said it's not everyday that you'll easily stumble upon success.

"You'll see some failures and some [successes], you learn from both, and you apply that for your next goal," he said.

Earlier this month, Isko and Paolo Contis signed long-term contracts with TAPE Inc.

"Eat Bulaga" went back live on air in early June with a new set of hosts, including Betong, Buboy Villar, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, and Alexa Miro.

Isko is the newest host of the all-new "Eat Bulaga," where he has his own segment dubbed "G sa Gedli."

Previously, Vice Ganda shared a heartwarming interaction with Isko about "It's Showtime" airing on GTV.
