David Licauco opens up about his struggles with sleep apnea
David Licauco revealed that sleep apnea sometimes affects his work, especially as an actor. Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which breathing stops and starts repeatedly.
In Bea Alonzo's recent vlog where the Pambansang Ginoo underwent a legit lie detector test, David said sleep apnea usually makes him late on set for taping.
"May sleep apnea kasi ako," he began.

"My breathing stops for like mga 30 seconds straight, 24 times in an hour," he added. “So, all throughout the night, hirap ako eh. So stressed ako. So pag gising ko sa umaga, I’m stressed also.”

According to David, he has to work out and meditate in the morning to regulate his daily breathing.
In the same vlog, David also recalled the first sentence he ever said to Barbie Forteza when they first worked together.
David first opened up about his sleeping disorder earlier this year, saying that he's considering getting surgery sometime soon.
David and Barbie are set to make their primetime comeback for the remake of the "Maging Sino Ka Man" series.
It's the latest project lined up for the two, following their incredibly successful love team in the historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which is now streaming on Netflix.
