Ellen Adarna quits smoking after 17 years to prepare for pregnancy

Ellen Adarna is making sure that she is healthy before she and Derek Ramsay try to have a baby this year.

On Instagram Stories, Tuesday, the actress posted a video of her "breaking up" with her vape. She has been smoking for 17 years.

"My last vice. Goodbye. I'm grieving," she wrote on the story.

Someone in the video asked her if she was pregnant, but Ellen said she is not yet expecting.

"I'm not pregnant. I'm preparing my body to get pregnant," she explained.

Ellen and Derek, who got married in 2021, previously said they plan to have a baby this year. She is hoping for a girl, as they both already have sons from a previous relationship.

In another Story, Ellen gave her followers a video update on how she's holding up so far without smoking.

Less than 24 hours after quitting, Ellen showed that a stye has formed in her eye. She said it's something that she usually doesn't experience, but it probably stemmed from her feelings of detachment to her vape.

"It's here I think from the stress, emotional stress that I went through and I'm still going through," she said. "My demons are strong today."
