Pauline Mendoza turns emotional as she opens up about her mom's breast cancer diagnosis

Pauline Mendoza turned emotional on Friday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" as she talked about her mother's breast cancer diagnosis.

While at a taping in 2017, she suddenly got a text message from her mom. "'I was diagnosed with breast cancer,' ganun lang," Pauline recalled.

As an only child, Pauline said it was really tough on her,  she "started to question God. Bakit kami? Bakit ako? Bakit si mom?"

The divine answers came in the form of her mother's strength, Pauline said. She's the strongest, she's the bravest. Kakaiba siya."

"Whatever happens, kaya pagdaanan," Pauline said of her epiphany.

The doctors gave her mom five years to live, "because stage four breast cancer, but she's doing OK na," Pauline continued.
