Jake Zyrus goes on social media break: 'This is me fighting back, by healing'
Jake Zyrus has announced that he is going on a social media break for a few weeks.
In a statement on Instagram, the singer said he's focusing on his mental health.
"It’s been a rough ride," he said. "A lot of people have tried to break me, so this is me fighting back, by healing."
"I know it’s not gonna be easy, but I also know it will help me a lot," he added. "If you’re looking for a sign to also take a break because it’s been a lot for you, this is it. Let’s do this together."
Fans gave him supportive and encouraging words in the comments.
Jake often posts song covers on his social media, including the viral hit "Under the Influence" by Chris Brown, and the iconic "This I Promise You" by NSYNC.
