Gab Valenciano hurt in motorcycle accident in California


Gab Valenciano was hurt after getting involved in an accident while driving his motorcycle in a freeway in California.

On Instagram, Monday, the Filipino dancer shared several photos of him in a hospital bed, showing the injuries in his arm and leg.

There were also a photo of his motorcycle lying on the road and a shot he took while he was getting loaded into an ambulance via a stretcher.

"I got side swiped on the freeway by an [SUV] at around 75mph which launched me a good 70ft away from the collision. I was in full gear but because of the force of the impact and momentum, it burned through my jacket and pants," Gab wrote in the caption.

Gab said this is the first accident in his entire life that he did not see coming at all. He has been riding for nearly two decades.

Before the accident, he was coming from sharing his testimony in a church.

Gab thanked all the first-responders who took care of him and the fellow motorists who came to his aid after the accident.

"I would like to say thank you to all the drivers and riders who stopped to help me by checking up, giving me water and food," he said.

He also expressed his gratitude to his friends and family from the Philippines who sent their  and love.

"Lastly, I want to say thank you to my Tito Ranier who picked me up in the hospital and took care of me for the first few days," Gab said.

"It's been very tough moving around especially at night considering I have gashes on my lower and upper back, so sleeping has been tough too but all is well. Slowly but surely."

In the comments, several celebrities reached out with well-wishes and concern. Among them were KC Concepcion, Iya Villania, Martin Nievera, Rocco Nacino, Jak Roberto, and more.

Gab relocated to Los Angeles for good last month.
