Michelle Dee is in the hospital following her birthday celebrations

Michelle Dee was having the best celebration with her friends. She even made a hashtag for her birthday — #MMMDDay — to celebrate with her fans and followers on social media, too.

But then following her fun birthday updates on Instagram Stories, the Miss Universe Philippines candidate posted a photo of herself lying on a hospital bed.

Michelle still had a pretty smile on her face but in the caption, she wrote, "brb," with a sad face emoticon.

According to her Instagram posts, the Kapuso celebrity was celebrating her 28th birthday with her barkada including "Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko" star Rhian Ramos, Max Collins, and Janina Manipol.

At the intimate at-home celebration, they bestowed a gold crown bubble on Michelle's head of Michelle, a testament to their belief in in her for the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2023 competition.

Michelle's friends treated her to a get-together with a black cake with a silver crown topper, black bouquet of flowers, black balloons, and charcuterie board. They also gave her another blue cake with a design of Michelle's face on it.

On top of that, they also gifted Michelle with her favorite things: a vitamin drip, a massage, and steak. They also gave her tickets to her "all time f****n favorite" show, which they did not disclose.

Michelle rejoined the Miss Universe Philippines pageant as a candidate this 2023. She recently starred on the GMA show, "Mga Lihim ni Urduja."
