Boobay becomes unresponsive mid-interview in 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,' talks about his health

Boobay became unresponsive in the middle of his interview on Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," making fans feel concerned for his health.

The comedian was jolly and making jokes in the beginning of the episode, but Boobay went silent all of a sudden. The King of Talk asked him if he is OK and immediately came to his aid.

Tito Boy then called for a break, but the episode eventually resumed. According to the host, Boobay already felt unwell the day before.

"Ito 'yung pagkakataon kahapon na nagte-taping kami tapos bigla akong medyo nag-hang habang kaming nagsho-shoot ng 'The Boobay and Tekla Show,'" Boobay said.

"Siguro dahil 'yun sa ilaw and at the same time konti pa 'yung tulog ko," he added.

Admittedly, the host said it was his fault for overworking himself by accepting gigs here and there.

"Dapat talaga bago ka pumunta sa isang trabaho, 'wag ka muna kukuha ng ibang trabaho para kahit papaano, mailagay mo 'yung katawan mo sa maayos," he said.

Boobay said he still experiences some aftereffects of the stroke he suffered in 2016. He recovered two months later and went back to work.

According to Boobay, his doctor advised him to take a break occasionally to give his body the proper care it needs.

"Kailangan raw magpahinga ako lagi, pero kaya ako tumatanggap ng trabaho [kasi] 'yun pa rin 'yung best way ko para magpahinga," he said.

Boy then chimed in and told Boobay to take the doctor's advice so he could continue doing what he loves with a proper state of body and mind.
