Xian Lim shares ice skating update: 'A 6'2 guy in a public rink trying to balance is not an ordinary sight'

Xian Lim took to Instagram to share an ice skating update.

Posting a clip of himself practicing some moves on ice, the Kapuso actor admitted he often feels "silly, intimidated, insecure, more often than not, shy and reluctant."

"Seeing a 6'2 (180lbs) guy on ice [skates] in a public rink trying to balance is not an ordinary sight and most of the time I stumble around and fall," he added.

In the video clip, you can see Xian successfully doing a spin only to stumble and nearly fall down after. He awkwardly skated to the side to find his balance.

Still, it doesn't look like Xian will stop. Sharing a realization aided by a Rocky Balboa quote, Xian said "The goal isn't to get there. It's also to have fun along way. Enjoy the difficulty, love the process."

The Kapuso actor thanked his coach "for the push."

In the comment section, none other than figure skating champ Michael Martinez complimented Xian, saying "Sheeesh you've improved so much in just a short time man!"

"Oh wow, thanks for the compliment brodie! Means a lot," he replied.

Xian has been training for ice skating in preparation for his role in upcoming GMA drama "Hearts on Ice."

In December, he proudly shared having passed the skating proficiency test
