Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola reveal daughter Isabella Rose was a 'cord coil' baby

Jessy Mendiola and husband Luis Manzano announced the birth of her beautiful daughter Isabella Rose in a social media post last January.

And in a YouTube video published this week, Jessy revealed details of her birthing story.

According to Jessy and Luis, their daughter was a "cord coil" baby, meaning she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. They needed a scheduled cesarean procedure to welcome their baby daughter.

"Sabi ng OB ko, 'It's safer'," Jessy said on the vlog.

"Of course, since first baby ko, mahirap makalusot si Peanut so may tendency syempre pagpinilit siya lumusot, sisikip ang cord coil nyia so mas mahirapan siya huminga," she added.

"Are you ready?" Jessy asked Luis.

"Yes," said Luis.

"Kinakabahan ako," Jessy said.

They welcomed their daughter in December last year and had to spend New Year  the hospital so the medical staff could monitor the baby well.

The couple recently showed baby Isabella's face to the public after previously covering the baby's face on social media. — LA, GMA Integrated News
