Woman with lump on genital area recovers with GMA Kapuso Foundation's help
A woman who suffered from a "cauliflower-sized" lump on her genital area is now slowly recovering thanks to the help of GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to a report on "24 Oras," Monday, Marina (not her real name) underwent an operation for human papillomavirus (HPV) in 2022.
She has since continued to live her life normally, without pain whenever she moves.
Marina said she also got a job. However, the warts that grew on her body continue to make it hard for her.
Malaking ginhawa po sa 'kin 'pag nawala po 'to," she said.
Dr. Charlene Marie U. Ang-Tiu, dermatologist at East Avenue Medical Center, said Marina may have the condition called Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis.
