Inka Magnaye shares empowering story on caring less about stretch marks, cellulite
Inka Magnaye took to social media to share an inspiring story on how she empowered a fellow woman to enjoy the beach regardless of her body insecurities.
Without mentioning whom she was talking to, Inka told the story in the caption of her Instagram post on Monday.
"I turned to the girl beside me and asked, 'Why don't you go take a dip? I can watch the bags.'"
According to the TikTok star and popular voiceover talent, they were at the beach the entire morning, but her company didn't even take a dip in the waters despite "having a cute onesie on underneath her shorts."
In the conversation, Inka said that the girl was talking about her stretch marks and cellulite. She then told her, "Go jump in, have fun. I promise no one will notice."
"Dark knees and elbows, dry skin, lines on my underarms, patchy pigmentation, stretch marks, and all these things that prevent us from doing things we want to do," she wrote.
Inka further added that women usually leave a comment on her TikTok videos saying things like they wish they could wear skirts but couldn't because of their dark knees.
"If you've seen me in shorts out in public, I promise you I have them all," she said. "You just don't notice because we're usually too preoccupied with our own 'flaws' to notice them in others."
To prove her point, Inka posted unfiltered photos of herself, showing off her stretch marks, uneven skin tone, and underarm lines.
To end her story, Inka said that the girl eventually hopped on the beach after their conversation.
Inka rose to fame for her viral voiceover duets on TikTok. She is also the voice actor behind Good Boy's AI on "Start-Up PH."
