On New Year, Carla Abellana says she’s ‘grateful to be alive’

Carla Abellana is full of gratitude this 2023.

Sharing a video of a fireworks display in their area early Sunday, New Year's Day, the Kapuso actress could only express how happy she is to be witnessing it. 

“On this 1st day of the new year, I am simply grateful to be alive,” she wrote in the caption.

Carla had been through a lot the past year. In June of 2022, Tom Rodriguez revealed that they have already divorced and were “moving onto own paths.”

She has since been prioritizing herself and healing. In her latest photoshoot done a year after they tied the knot, Carla said “it was time to honor and celebrate me.”
