Paolo Benjamin to Ben&Ben fan struggling with body-shaming: 'You're worthy of being loved'
Paolo Benjamin has encouraging words for a Ben&Ben fan who is a victim of body-shaming.
On Instagram, Saturday, Paolo said someone left a message in the OPM band's Discord server sharing that they were having a difficult time getting body-shamed by their own friends in school.
Paolo, who wowed with his body transformation this year, took the time to uplift the fan as someone who went through a similar experience.
"As you are right now, you're worthy of being loved," he said.
Paolo said it can be a slow and difficult process to realize that loving oneself does not have to be based on what other people say.
However, he said that self-improvement comes with self-love.
"You wanna multiply the gifts you already have, to be a bigger blessing to the world around you," he said.
"I know it can be hard to see that, when you're really down and self-esteem is at a rock bottom. But I hope you realize there is wonder within you, right now."
Paolo previously opened up on his insecurities from growing up a twin and how that led to having an unhealthy relationship with food.
