This social experiment lets men experience how women feel when they're left unsatisfied
Study shows that there is an existing inequality between men and women in the bedroom regarding pleasure.
Based on a regional study done among Filipinos aged between 18 to 34 by condom brand Durex, 22% of Filipino women said that they don’t orgasm during sex, while an astonishing 64% said that they want more satisfaction in bed.
On the other hand, 70% to 100% of men said they could orgasm during sex.Due to the survey’s findings, Durex mounted a social experiment dubbed “the unequal dinner,” where the male guests were made to experience what it is to be on the unsatisfied side.
While the women were treated to a lavish meal, the men were intentionally left dissatisfied with their tiny basket of bread, ice-cold soup, and waiters who barely paid any attention to them.
One of the highlights of the unequal dinner was some women asking to go straight to the mains without going through the appetizers first. The words that are usually uttered by men, such as “we don’t have time for that,” were thrown by women this time.
Towards the end of the video, the bill from the dinner contained the words, “Craving for more? That’s just how women feel after sex. Ask your partner.”
Normalizing conversations about sex and pleasure in the Philippines has been quite progressive in the past few years.
