Ruffa Gutierrez gets her bachelor’s degree, reveals she's also pursuing her masteral studies

Ruffa Gutierrez will be marching across the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) stage next week, because she just earned her bachelor’s degree.

“I humbly want to share that I have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Philippine Women’s University under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP),” Ruffa said on Instagram.

According to the PWU website, the ETEEAP “allows individuals to attain an academic degree through an assessment process that recognizes, credits, and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, and prior learning gained from relevant formal, non-formal, and informal training and work experiences.”

Ruffa said, “I would not have been able to successfully embark on my educational journey without the continuous guidance of PWU‘s ETEEAP team of professionals and the immeasurable support of my loved ones.”

The former beauty queen and actress added she is now preparing for PWU’s 99th Commencement Exercises to be held at the PICC next week. The ceremony will have Manila Mayor Dr. Maria Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan as their guest speaker.

Aside from earning her bachelor’s, Ruffa also proudly shared that she is now taking up the Master of Arts major in Communication Arts student at PWU.

“Because of my enduring commitment to continuously seeking knowledge and equipping myself with new skills that will help me prosper and fulfill my dreams in the ever-changing global scene, I also proudly share with you that I am officially an MA-ComArts student at PWU. The journey continues—unstoppable!”
