Rufa Mae Quinto has a super practical advice when meeting your partner's parents for the first time

The latest episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas" featured Rufa Mae Quinto, who didn't just deliver laughs but also gave super honest answers and even spot-on love advice.

Nelson asked some questions sent by listeners and among them was, what to do when meeting your partner's parents for the first time.

Rufa Mae gave a funny but super practical advice: "Maligo ka para fresh," she said with aplomb.

"Una sa lahat, maging presentable ka," she said providing context.

Rufa Mae shared meeting her now in-laws at Lake Tahoe and then announcing their engagement three days later.

"Siyempre nawindang-windang na ganon," she admitted.

While it was too cold to come as her sexy self —"Malamig eh, hindi ako naka-sexy," Rufa Mae said — the commedianne said Trevor actually showed his parents her sexy photoshoots with FHM.

"So yun ang advice ko: Just go there and be fresh, simple lang."

Just go, attend. Makinig, maging totoo lang, diba? Pag may tanong, sagot. Pag wala, eh 'di tahimik."

Married for seven years, Rufa and Trevor are now navigating a long-distance relationship. — LA, GMA News
