Kuya Kim recovers from COVID-19: ‘I am now 100 percent healed’

Kuya Kim Atienza has fully recovered from COVID-19.

The Kapuso anchor on Friday shared the good news with a video of himself singing Rascal Flatt’s song “I Won’t Let Go.”

“I am now 100 percent healed of covid,” he wrote. “Thank you dear God for being there for me ALL the time.”

He also added a Bible quote from Psalm 91 2-3: “I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.”

Last week, Kuya Kim revealed on Instagram that he was in isolation after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

After thanking viewers of “24 Oras” and #KuyaKimAnoNa, he apologized for his absence during the newscast and his raspy voiceover.

“Though hoarse, my symptoms are very mild,” he said. “I can do my voice overs in isolation so it’s all good. God is good!” – RC, GMA News
