Kim Atienza misses daughter's graduation after testing positive for COVID-19
Kim Atienza could not attend his daughter Eliana's high school graduation as he had to isolate himself immediately after testing positive for COVID-19.
On Instagram, Saturday, Kuya Kim explained what happened and congratulated Eliana on her graduation.
According to Kuya Kim, he took a leave from work on his daughter's graduation, only to contract COVID-19. Nonetheless, the proud father wrote a heartfelt message for Eliana.
"I love you and I am so proud of you @elianahatienza you are God's gift to mama and I and in a few months, you shall be in college far away from both of us," he wrote.
Kuya Kim then sent his well wishes to Eliana as she embarks on her college journey at the University of Pennsylvania.
"Parents are like bows and you are like an arrow. Our job is to shoot you far and straight and high... far away from us. It is sad but that's what parents are designed to do," he said.
