Arnold Clavio posts update while battling COVID-19


Arnold Clavio is drawing lots of strength from his "Igans" while battling COVID-19.

The GMA News pillar posted an update on Instagram Monday, saying he was still positive after four days of quarantine.

"Mga Igan, ika-apat na araw ng aking quarantine! Thank you for all your love and prayers 'yun po nag nagbibigay lakas sa akin. Stay safe, everyone! Laban!" he said in a short video.

In his caption, Arnold said he was experiencing "occasional cough plus sore throat," but "no fever, no body pains, [and] no headache."

He also expressed gratitude for all the love and prayers from fans which he said were his "best vitamins."

Earlier on Sunday, Arnold announced that he he took an antigen test after he had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

The journalist, radio and TV personality said he was experiencing mild symptoms and that it was his first time contracting COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.— LA, GMA News
